Stella Hand Car Wash is looking for a motivated and reliable Car Detailer / Car Washer to join our growing team. We are committed to providing premium hand car wash and detailing services, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality and outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As a Car Detailer / Car Wash Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring every vehicle leaves our wash in showroom condition. You'll be responsible for maintaining our high standards of vehicle presentation while contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand wash and dry customer vehicles to a premium standard.
• Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
• Vacuum, clean, and dress vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, windows, dashboards, and trim.
• Apply polishing, waxing, and paint protection products where required.
• Perform paint decontamination and basic paint correction (experience is an advantage).
• Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure exceptional presentation.
• Safely move customer vehicles within the premises when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workshop, wash bays, equipment, and customer areas.
• Monitor and replenish detailing products and cleaning supplies.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in vehicle detailing or hand car washing (preferred but not essential).
• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
• Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Works well independently and within a team.
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence (preferred).

Highly Regarded Skills

• Experience using buffing and polishing machines.
• Knowledge of paint correction and ceramic coating preparation.
• Experience in automotive detailing.
