As the Mid-Western Region
continues to grow and prosper at a steady rate, Council has an exciting
opportunity for a full-time Customer Service Coordinator.

What We can offer

Working with the Customer Services and Governance Manager who will be your mentor.

As the Customer Service Coordinator, you will be leading a team of 14 local government customer service professionals based in 3 office locations, with the main office based in Mudgee. This is an exciting but rare opportunity for an experienced customer service and administrative professional that has had exposure to local government or similar work environments.

As the Customer Service Coordinator you will work in a busy office environment and lead a team focused on achieving on its customer service commitments and department objectives.

Your team will assist customers with a vast variety of simple and complex enquiries - either in person, over the phone or in email/written communications.

You will be a driven, approachable and enthusiastic leader with a focus on efficient, effective and professional customer service delivery,

You will lead by example in delivering a positive and cohesive team culture and will ensure the team functions are carried out in accordance with legislative and procedures.

You will have to strong ability to multi-task, problem solve, negotiate and deploy effective conflict resolution techniques with staff and customers alike and you will set a high benchmark when delivering customer service for Council.

You will also enjoy the benefits of a positive work/life balance with the role working business hours and Monday to Friday, with a rostered RDO every 4 weeks. Depending on skills and experience, salary offered is between $86439 - $97289.
