About the role

We are looking for more than someone who can simply work a shift. We want an experienced Cook or Chef who is ready to take ownership of the kitchen, lead by example and help drive the food side of Pacific Ocean Brewing forward.

Working alongside our existing kitchen staff, you will help maintain strong daily standards while bringing fresh ideas, creativity and genuine passion to the role. You will have the opportunity to contribute to menu development, improve kitchen systems and create dishes that keep customers coming back.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation and organisation of the kitchen

• Preparing and cooking menu items consistently and to a high standard

• Leading busy services calmly and confidently

• Helping develop new dishes, specials and menu ideas

• Maintaining preparation, portion-control and presentation standards

• Supporting, guiding and training other kitchen team members

• Managing stock rotation, deliveries, waste and kitchen cleanliness

• Maintaining excellent food-safety and hygiene standards

• Identifying practical ways to improve quality, efficiency and profitability
