About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IGA Supermarket located in Mannum. As a full-time role, this position is critical to ensuring the smooth running and profitability of our store, while creating an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and lead a team of retail team members, providing effective coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Oversee all store operations including inventory management, merchandising, sales, and customer service.

  • Ensure the store meets or exceeds financial and operational targets.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve profitability, and enhance the customer experience.

  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations.

  • Foster a positive, customer-focused culture within the store.

What we're looking for

  • Proven history as a successful Store Manager or Retail Manager in the supermarket/grocery industry

  • Excellent leadership, people management, and coaching skills

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and act on financial and operational data.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences.

  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution abilities

  • Excellent communication and people skills

  • Proficient in using retail management software and technology.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.
