The role involves coordinating trades, supervising workers, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on site
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
• Ensure works are completed according to drawings and specifications
• Monitor project schedule and ensure milestones are met
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and company procedures
• Implement and maintain workplace health and safety practices
• Manage site materials and equipment
• Maintain site documentation including daily reports and progress updates
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Identify and resolve construction issues on site

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience supervising construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience coordinating multiple trades on site
• Good organisational and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving ability

Qualifications & Licences

• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction or relevant trade qualification
• Valid driver’s licence
• First Aid certificate (advantageous)
• Forklift License
