The following are the responsibilities and requirements for the role of a Bookseller.Â

Welcome and connect with customers in a warm, authentic wayÂ

Ask great questions to understand what they love to readÂ

Recommend books with passion, knowledge, and heartÂ

Work with your team to achieve sales goalsÂ

Celebrate and sell our monthly Book of the Month and VIP offersÂ
-
Work as part of a supportive, fun, high-performing teamÂ

Contribute to store presentation, ensuring our bookstores are organised, easy to navigate and clean. This includes assisting with stock processes such as processing a delivery, completing product lookups and filling all shelving unitsÂ
RequirementsÂ

English literacy skillsÂ
-
Ability to work on the floor for long periods of timeÂ
-
Lift boxes of stock up to 15kgÂ
-
Able to climb a ladderÂ
-
Able to push/pull a stock trolley and assist with the moving of equipment like display tables when requiredÂ
-
Flexible availability including late night trade and weekends. Availability throughout December is essentialÂ
