About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Frontline Support Specialist to join our Community Supports team.

In this role, you’ll deliver person-centred support to people with complex and high-intensity needs, while also mentoring others and leading by example.

You’re calm, reliable, and confident in complex environments, with a genuine passion for supporting others, engaging with stakeholders, and growing your career.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred support for complex needsImplement care plans and behaviour support strategiesSupport medication, health needs, and appointmentsRespond to behaviours of concern and crisis situationsMentor team members and model best practiceBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and key stakeholdersPromote independence and community participationMaintain accurate, NDIS-compliant documentation

Essential

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience supporting individuals with complex or high-intensity needsStrong understanding of person-centred and active support approachesExperience implementing behaviour support plans and strategiesConfidence engaging with stakeholders, families, and multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated experience mentoring and supporting team membersExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyConfidence to work independently and make sound decisionsCommitment to continuous learning and professional growth

Desirable

Experience contributing to complex care or multidisciplinary reviewsUnderstanding of NDIS Practice Standards, including high-intensity supportsPrevious experience in mentoring, coaching, or informal leadership
