This is an exciting opportunity to work with an ever-changing dynamic team within the Mid-Western Regional Council.
This role is full-time, based on site in Mudgee with options of flexible working arrangements.
The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $3151- $3547 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $81946- $92222 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
Key Accountabilities
- Assist and provide interpretation guidance for all procurement, contracts and contact management activities &
processes including but not limited to RFT documentation, RFQ documentation,
specification development and drafting Contracts to internal & external
customers. - Assist in the management and maintenance of eProcurement systems,
Council’s procurement
framework, Contract Management Framework and associated tools, policies and
procedures. - Monitor Council’s reoccurring tendering
program and assist departments in developing and achieving
their annual procurement plans. - Provide exceptional customer
service to both internal staff and external suppliers including responding to incoming enquiries, providing information and referring as required in an effective and responsive manner. - Assist in the training of Council staff and/or
Service Providers on Procurement and Contract
Management matters as directed. - Assist in the management of Contractors according to Council’s Contractor Management Policy
- Monitor and update Council’s Contracts Register (other legislative reporting
requirements) as required.
