Bendigo is a city in Victoria, Australia. Originally a gold rush boom town, it’s home to the mid-1900s Central Deborah Gold Mine. Vintage Talking Trams run through the city, providing audio commentary on gold mining history. The Golden Dragon Museum celebrates the area’s Chinese heritage through artefacts and artwork. Established in 1858, Bendigo Pottery offers pot-making workshops and ceramics displays. It has an airport that is serviced by major airlines including daily Sydney flights among other destinations. It is a designated UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. It has a renowned art gallery.
