To be successful in this role you will have excellent time management, scheduling and attention to detail skills. You will be a punctual, honest, highly-motivated and enthusiastic person. Previous experience in the vehicle service and repair industry would be highly regarded.
The Workshop Support Officer is responsible for:
- Assisting in the scheduled servicing bookings and registration renewals of Council’s fleet.
- Clerical, admirative and reception functions
- Computer software, including Microsoft Office, Records Management and Finance Systems and specialist databases e.g. Ausfleet Fleet Management System
- Work with minimum supervision and with a multi-disciplinary work team
- Plant related field or working knowledge of plant used in construction and maintenance works
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Certificate III in auto industry parts interpretation, administration or similar OR equivalent relevant experience in the motor trade industry, e.g., customer advisor, coordinator, estimator, etc.
- Minimum NSW class C Drives Licence
- WHS Construction Induction Card
- Intermediate Certificate in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word

Salary range: Grade 7 - $1,118.30- $1,210.00 plus superannuation per week for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
