About the Role
There are 2 x permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday positions working 35 hours per week, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. One position is location at the Holiday Haven Office, Nowra and the other is located at Ulladulla Works Depot, Ulladulla.
This role supports the Works & Contracts Manager in the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure construction and maintenance projects within Holiday haven Tourist Parks.
- Undertake the supervision and delivery of minor projects under the direction of the Works & Contracts Manager, including some manual tasks, ensuring that works are carried out to the appropriate standard.
- Provide effective site representation as the designated Council Officer across a range of projects to assist the Works & Contracts Manager and Project Managers in the delivery of quality works and services.
- Assist the Works & Contracts Manager and Project Managers in the delivery of projects including the engagement and direct management of contracted works
- Assist Works & Contracts Manager and project Managers in the delivery of projects through undertaking routine monitoring of technical, quality, environment and work health and safety compliance.
- Ensure the application of relevant construction specifications (AUSSPEC, NATSPEC, etc.), by contractors when undertaking works for Council

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Building or Construction, Project management, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience in the building industry.
- Demonstrated experience in a range of Construction Delivery functions including procurement, time, cost, quality and contract surveillance.
- Experience in the provision of construction and maintenance activities.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
