Workforce Support Officer
Permanent, Full-time Position
Work a 35-hour week - Variable Day Off every 4 weeks
Salary Ranging from $70,775.12 - $82,252.04 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation

 

About the Role:

The Workforce Support Officer is responsible for providing high quality customer support to all staff and management across Wingecarribee Shire Council. The role has a focus on recruitment, selection, onboarding, contract management, personnel administration (including all records management within ECM) and the provision of generalist HR advice related to Policy, Procedure and the Award. The role contributes to the effective and efficient management of workforce systems and processes that support the efficient delivery of People and Culture functions.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Relevant recent experience working within a Workforce/Human Resources environment and/or Certificate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar
  2. Demonstrated high level experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with experience in the use of Human Resource Information Systems and Record Keeping Systems
  3. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, with a focused and responsive approach to managing customer enquiries with sound understanding of customer service principles.
  4. Demonstrated high level organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work in a high-volume environment Previous experience in a role requiring tact and confidentiality.
  5. Demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of a team, as well as the ability to work independently, and show initiative and judgment in proposing solutions to challenges.
  6. Demonstrated ability to apply attention to detail and accuracy to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  7. Hold a Current Drivers Licence (Class C)
