As a Crew Member, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our water network, playing a vital role in serving our community.

As a member of our Water Network team, you'll engage in a variety of tasks that keep our water systems running smoothly. From construction projects to routine maintenance and quality assurance checks, no two days are the same. You'll collaborate across different work teams, lending your hands-on expertise to meet evolving business needs. Whether it's performing manual labour or utilizing your specialized skills, you'll contribute to the essential work that sustains our community's water infrastructure.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Minimum of two years demonstrated knowledge and experience in construction and maintenance activities related to water network assets, operating plant, tools, equipment and machinery.
  2. Proven ability in team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skill set.
  3. Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable field productivity and scheduling based systems to facilitate day- to-day operations.
  4. Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in delivering information on operational and maintenance services.
  5. Hold a C Class Drivers Licence, WHS Induction Card and a willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment; MR Drivers Licence, Confined Space Entry Certificate, Working from Heights ticket, Working Safely Near Live Electrical Apparatus certificate, competency in the use of an Excavator, Traffic Control Combo (Stop Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Plans), Asbestos Awareness training and Forklift ticket.
  6. Prior to commencement you will require to have a current immunisation record for Hepatitis A, B and Tetanus.
