Multiple Casual Opportunities

Salary from $37.23 up to $41.08 per hour plus superannuation and 25% casual loading.

(Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience, and qualifications)

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our Memorial Gardens and Cemeteries team working across the Wollongong Local Government Area (LGA). You will be working with a committed and positive team to carry out a wide range of duties including:

- Grounds maintenance and horticultural, burial and memorial operations

- Provide a high level of customer service to our bereaved community

- Effectively liaise with office staff to carry out customer requests

- Participate in the operation of plant and machinery, including excavators and trucks (once required training is completed)

This is a hands-on role, you must be physically fit and capable of undertaking duties as described in the job description.

What you will be doing:

This position requires a dynamic individual who can demonstrate that they have experience in carrying out grounds and general maintenance to a high-quality standard. You will be involved in operating plant and equipment, specifically ride on mowers and small plant.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to undertake a range of regular and manual day-to-day tasks with the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines. A high-level of customer service is crucial in being successful in the role as you will be dealing with bereaved customers.
