Salary ? $101,261pa - $113,516pa plus super (plus employer?s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading)

This position is open to Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.

Your role
?
Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate courses which meet the requirements of accredited courses and training packages to achieve the highest levels of program delivery in accordance with Corrective Services NSW policy, procedures and standards to contribute to the reduction of re-offending and increased community safety.
?
Contribute to the provision of vocational training programs delivered by the external education service provider in the Intensive Learning Centre.
?
What you?ll do
?
- Engage adult learners who have invariably experienced educational and institutional barriers to learning.
- Implement education assessment and planning processes to determine offender participation in appropriate education programs and services
- Develop course outlines, lesson plans and teaching and assessment resources in line with the requirements of accredited course and training package qualifications
- Participate in evaluation processes including validation and moderation of assessment
- Maintain administrative duties related to teaching including recording of offender participation, progress and achievement in accordance with established systems and processes.
- Contribute to offender case management by providing support and advice to inmates on education and employment pathways, by providing regular reports on inmate learning progress and achievement and by participating in centre Induction and Case Management Review committees.

What we?re looking for
?
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role
- Bachelor?s degree in education or Graduate Diploma (or higher) in Education, and qualification (degree, diploma or certificate) in a discipline other than education
- Certificate IV TAE40122 Training & Assessing or equivalent in or the ability to attain as such within 12 months of employment
?
