  • The package: $34.48 - $41.12 per hour, plus 25% casual loading, plus superannuation
  • Location: Grafton

About the role

The Regional Aquatic Centre in Grafton is brand new and due to open in December. The new facility includes an outdoor 50m pool, an accessible zero depth splash pad and an indoor centre with two heated pools, a 25m and combined program and leisure pool.

We are currently recruiting for a Swim coach to provide expert coaching and technical instruction to swimmers of all ages and abilities. This includes both water and dryland training and support for our junior coaches. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated coach to provide an enjoyable and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement. You will be an effective communicator with participants of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, and contribute to the development of individual swimmer's goals. The successful applicant will need to be available to work Monday through to Sunday, some early mornings and some late evenings, depending on the needs of the Centre.

This position is located at Council's Aquatic Centre, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
