About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Surveyor to join our Team! This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of urban and rural projects, from civil works and stormwater drainage to community facilities and infrastructure.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing survey services for a variety of projects, including recreational, urban and rural infrastructure works. Key duties include conducting land and property surveys, accurately conducting surveys for the placement of control marks, performing volumetric surveys and undertaking civil infrastructure surveys for construction projects. Additional responsibilities include contributing to traffic studies, investigating property boundary issues, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate data recording and the delivery of high-quality results. You will be responsible for the calibration and standardisation of survey equipment to maintain operational excellence.
About You
To be successful in this role, it is essential you must hold, at a minimum, a Diploma in Surveying (or equivalent), and have proven experience in engineering surveying, construction set-out, and using survey software. You should also be skilled in interpreting plans and maps and producing detailed reports. Strong problem-solving and time management skills are essential, as is a Class C Driver's Licence.Experience with modern surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GNSS, and Digital Leveling equipment, is highly desirable. Proficiency in software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D will be a significant advantage. Additional qualifications, such as WHS General Construction Induction certificate or traffic control certifications, would be viewed favourably.
The ideal candidate will be versatile, capable of working both independently (robotically) and collaboratively with an Assistant. Strong teamwork and communication skills are highly valued.
