The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek an expe­ri­enced Senior Team Member- Playgrounds & Reactive Team to work within the Works Depot team and under the general direction of the Manager Works.

Your responsibilities will be included but not limited to assisting with the planning, coordinating, supervision and on-the-job training of the Playgrounds and Reactive Team, identify remove weeds, pests and diseases and eradicate them through the use of pesticides and herbicides, undertake a range of horticultural activities particularly mowing, spraying, slashing, top-dressing, scarifying, fertilizing and aerating turfed areas and Operate and maintain a broad range of plant and equipment to a safe and competent standard and identify and report the need for necessary repairs.

• Attrac­tive salary of Level 7.1 (ME) $ 73,917.38  exclu­sive of super­an­nu­a­tion p/a plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o dependents
• 6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave entitlements (annual leave is paid at the employee’s ordinary hourly rate together with a leave loading of 17.5%.) + 3 weeks personal leave + long service leave
