Our Strategy, Assets and Design Division is on the hunt for a highly motivated professional engineer, who wishes to use their knowledge and skill to enhance outcomes for the community. You will be responsible for:
- Providing 'specialist advice' on stormwater design and flooding issues.
- Leading and developing the other resources in the Division and in Development Engineering to build Stormwater and Flood Engineering capacity within the Division including Stormwater Modelling and Stormwater Strategy Development.
- Reviewing flood study reports and flood mitigation studies to determine strategies and prepare strategic plans for stormwater drainage and flood mitigation infrastructure.
- Working with the Development Engineering staff to ensure development proposals are reviewed against the requirements of the conditions of consent and TRC Minimum Standards for Subdivisions and Developments.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications acceptable for Membership to Engineers Australia;
- WHS General Induction for Construction Work
- Drivers Licence

Salary range: Grade 18 - 20- $102,019.54 – $124,998.99 per annum plus superannuation, 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance and leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
