About the Opportunity
We are excited to announce the opening for the Senior Property Officer position, with opportunities for both a permanent role and an 18-month maternity relief position. If you are passionate about property management and eager to make a meaningful impact in our community, we’d love to hear from you!
In this role, you will coordinate Council’s property functions, overseeing sales, acquisitions, and leasing, particularly for major and politically sensitive projects. You will also manage customer property inquiries and ensure the seamless integration of property matters within the Finance and Administration Branch. A key part of your responsibilities will involve negotiating the Acquisition of extinguishment of easements and other property rights necessary for Council's operations and managing financial risk.

Remuneration
$96,213 - $110,645 per annum plus superannuation

About You
To succeed, you will hold a tertiary qualifications in property-related fields such as valuation, land economics, real estate, or possess extensive experience in government property management. You will have a proven track record in negotiating and administering property transactions, ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements.
