About the role

As a Senior People and Culture Business Partner you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of strategic and operational human resource solutions for our business units. You will have experience in building collaborative partnerships with stakeholders that deliver people and culture solutions the help improve workplace and business performance.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Management or relevant field or demonstrated experience with ongoing professional development
  • Proven experience in a similar role working with senior leadership in medium to large complex organisations
  • Proven experience in managing complex grievances and performance management related matters
  • Experience in negotiation, handling conflict and facilitating resolution
  • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively within Union officials and delegates, embracing an interest based bargaining philosophy.

Other important information

  • The salary range for this position sits between $120k to $144k plus 11.5% superannuation
  • This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.

Council will be creating an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
