Help bring the magic to life! Council are currently looking for a Senior Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team and play a key role in leading the installation and maintenance of the stunning Trail of Lights and Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra installations by world-renowned artist Bruce Munro.
- This is a part time position with the successful applicant required to work a minimum of 128 hours within a four-week work cycle as rostered.
- Evening, early morning and weekend availability required
About the Opportunity
Step into a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain the magic! As part of our team, you’ll lead the upkeep and repairs of the captivating Trail of Lights (TOL) and Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra (FOSO) installations. With assistance from your Grounds & Maintenance Officers, you’ll ensure these immersive experiences shine brightly and operate seamlessly for all to enjoy.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a variety of works including construction, building, renovations, general maintenance concreting.
- A current satisfactory police check and Working with Children’s Check, or a willingness to obtain them.
- Current Drivers licence
- Qualified in basic first aid or a willingness to obtain
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $39.33 per hour plus industry allowance and statutory superannuation.
