What’s the opportunity?Our ideal candidate has managed residential and commercial files, end-to-end, with experience across all transaction types to suit our varied client base. The role is being offered as a full-time 12-month contract with the opportunity to discuss ongoing employment upon expiry for the right candidate. The role encompasses a varied portfolio and you can expect to be responsible for:Providing professional and senior-level assistance with the management and oversight of the end-to-end conveyancing process for private contracts for sale, property settlements, family and matrimonial transfers and land divisionsGrowing and nurturing your relationship with clients, colleagues and other external stakeholders including real estate agents, brokers and banksPreparation of electronic payments using PEXA to complete settlements and payments of outstanding rates and taxes (being able to sign off transactions is desirable but not a requirement)Using online platforms and portals to conduct searches, lodge applications and documents Demonstrate full compliance with regulations governing Trust Account use and operation
What are our non-negotiables?Aside from a professional nature and an ‘all-in’ attitude towards our team culture, you’ll also have:3+ years’ experience in a Conveyancing or File Manager role, running your own files Strong knowledge of property law and external factors influencing our industryA natural ability to master the details in pursuit of delivering a high-quality client experienceExperience using PEXA and online platforms to conduct searches and lodge applicationsA sound understanding of Trust Account regulations
