The Package: $84,850.48 - $93,760.16 gross per annum + 11% super. (Evaluated as Grade 13 of the QPRC Salary System 2023) and guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Are you a motivated individual who has a strong background in security administration? Council has an exciting opportunity within the Building and Facilities team to manage Council’s security systems to ensure the safety and security of our sites.

In this role you will:

• Develop, plan, implement, maintain and administer Council’s security systems.
• Investigate security issues and infractions in consultation with contractors and police as required.
• Make recommendations for corrective actions that improve security systems to protect Council’s assets.
• Coordinate recourses in accordance with budgets.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant qualifications in security/ risk management or extensive previous experience in a similar role.
• Possesses successful contract and project management skills.
• Has a proven ability to operate and maintain automated and computer-controlled security systems.
• Has previously operated programs such as Windows Server, Windows Workstation environment and can operate/ maintain IP Networks and SQL Databases.
