SC702 Cabonne Home Support Officer

The Community Services team is looking for a friendly, good communicator to join their older persons' services unit, to backfill for maternity leave, as the Cabonne Home Support Officer.
This position is responsible for providing back up support to service functions and the Cabonne Home Support Coordinator and to ensure efficient provision of meal services and associated administrative tasks.
This role is a temporary role until 30 June 2025, based out of the Canowindra office.

Qualifications
Essential
- Class C driver’s licence.
Desirable
- Certificate III in either Welfare, Aged Care or Community Service fields.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to manage and coordinate the ordering, storing and delivery of CHS Frozen Food supply.
- Demonstrated ability to support a volunteer workforce.
- Experience ensuring the accurate and efficient control of stock.
- Ability to work within a budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership skills.

Some experience working in a welfare/aged care/social work setting.

- This position is graded 6-7 ($1232.60 - 1410.90 gross per week).
