maintaining and repairing essential water and sewer assets that serve our
community. This hands-on role offers exciting variety as you assist with
repairs, maintenance, and connections, working outdoors as part of a dynamic,

sewer systems. There are multiple positions available in Dubbo and Wellington.

You'll find growth through:

  • Operate
    and maintain specialised equipment and construction plant
  • Assist
    with on-call and emergency response after hours
  • Carry
    out repairs and maintenance of Water and Sewerage Reticulation System,
    including service connections of both water and sewerage
  • Ensure the continuous operation of Water and
    Sewerage Reticulation system
  • Ensure
    data is recorded on trusted performance including Council’s MRS and CRM. Along
    with Operations daily requirements


What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans
  • General Construction Induction Card
  • Previous experience in water/sewer industry
  • General administrative skills demonstrating a
    competent level of literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills
  • Australian C Class Drivers Licence

We would also love you to have:

  • Class MR Drivers licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • RMS Traffic Controllers Certificate
  • Certificate III Water Operations (Reticulation)

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $62,741 to $72,915 including market allowance.
