In this important role, you'll be tasked with ensuring the implementation of various Acts, Regulations, Codes, and Policies that govern animal control, traffic management, including parking and environmental and public place issues.

Your responsibilities will include actively enforcing regulations, which helps maintain public safety and promotes responsible behavior among residents and visitors alike. You will also play a crucial role in community engagement by assisting with the development and implementation of educational programs tailored for schools, residents, and community groups.

Remuneration:

$ 79,228 - $91,738 per annum plus superannuation

About you:

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates who have completed a Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or Certificate IV in Government Investigations. If you have similar experience, A thorough understanding of the Local Government Act, 1993, Companion Animals Act, 1998, Public Spaces (unattended Property) Act, and Australian Road Rules 2014 is essential, along with practical experience in their enforcement, we would love to hear from you!
