The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to provide coordination to internal and external stakeholders on the management of Council owned and managed land portfolio and for the operations, partnerships, activation, and services of the Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre (BVCCC).
As the Property Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of the lease and licence processes for Council owned and managed land and buildings. You will arrange valuations, surveys, development applications and subdivision certificates in relation to Council property and ensure compliance with Native Title and Aboriginal Land claims over all Crown Land. As required you will provide corporate reporting information to managers and prepare high quality reports to Council (as required).

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds an Advanced Diploma/Degree level qualification appropriate to this position and has five (5) years recent relevant experience (indicative).
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Experience, understanding and the ability to interpret legislation, particularly the Native Title Act and relevant provisions within the Local Government Act/Regulation and Crown Land Management Act/Regulation.
- Understanding of local government operations and the implications of these activities to the use and management of community and Crown land owned and managed by BVSC.
- Demonstrated experience representing and successfully marketing venues facilities and events.
- Experience in asset planning and maintenance.
Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $101,528.78 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,751.10 per week base salary
- $201.38 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
