As our new Project Engineer / Estimator, you'll be an integral part of our close-knit engineering team, overseeing the delivery of various infrastructure projects. You'll have no issues going out there and actively seeking tender opportunities with clients. From project inception to commissioning, your expertise in project and contract management will ensure seamless execution and positive impacts on the local community.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management and project engineers on estimates for civil construction projects (up to $15 million)
  • Prepare tender documentation, maintain ISO accreditations, and conduct tender handovers
  • Actively seeking tender opportunities with clients
  • Manage minor and complex projects for the city
  • Cultivate key client relationships

What you'll bring:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical background
  • Extensive experience with engineering standards, specifications, and codes
  • Technical and practical knowledge of civil construction
  • Experience in actively seeking out tenders and managing them from start to finish
