About the role
Do you have experience in end-to-end procurement and contract activities? Do you have great planning and engagement skills and want to ensure your Council has a robust procurement practice promoting cost effectiveness that is in accordance with legislation and policy?
Can you get things done and make the most of opportunities to develop and learn? Are you able to identify and escalate issues impacting service delivery and make decisions within your delegation? Do you have experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management functions? This could be the job you are looking for.
This position provides the administration and facilitation of procurement and contractor management services. The position plans, develops, sources, and monitors the procurement arrangements and maintains and administers the tenders and contracts registers. To be considered for this position you will need to:

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
