About The Role
The Principal Education Officer (EOSD) will look at pathways and transitions and is responsible for overseeing the curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment for years 11 and 12, ensuring students can achieve their QCE/QCIA, and managing the transition pathways to university, TAFE, or employment.
The desirable applicant will have sound curriculum knowledge and an expertise in student transition programs and partnerships.
Your Responsibilities
As the Principal Education Officer (EOSD), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Senior Schooling Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of senior schooling, including curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment.Student Pathways: Develop and manage transition pathways to university, vocational training, and employment.Compliance and Attainment: Ensure compliance with QCAA requirements and support student attainment of the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement (QCIA).
