About the Role
Working with Regulatory Services Operations Lead, the Pound Attendant will be required to facilitate the feeding, cleaning and reporting of the animals contained within the pound facility. The role will ensure effective animal husbandry standards are maintained to ensure adequate animal welfare practices are met. Additional tasks required will include administrative impounding and releasing procedure and maintaining high customer service delivery.
What you need:
To be considered to this exciting role, you must have:
- Certificate II qualifications in Animal Care or Animal Studies or relevant experience in animal handling, animal behaviour and or animal husbandry.
- Physical ability to lift and handle animals and equipment.
- Demonstrated strong customer service focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or without supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic administrative duties.
- Knowledge and understanding of animal husbandry and welfare requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in cash handling procedures.
