About the opportunity

Join Cessnock City Council's vibrant Works and Operations team as a Plant Operator - Skid Steer.

We currently have an opportunity for a skilled operator to undertake plant operator duties as part of a multi-skilled team, associated with maintenance and construction of roads, paved areas, drainage facilities and/or parks.  Primary item of plant operated being Skid-Steer Loader and Truck. General labouring duties are also associated with the maintenance and construction of roads, paved areas, drainage facilities and parks.

Total Remuneration: $65,611 - $75,802 per annum (see below for breakdown)

  • Base Salary: $59,644 - $69,061 per annum
  • Plus 12% superannuation: $7,275 - $8,700
  • Plus Adverse Working Conditions Allowance: $987.62

This role also has a potential to undertake up to 5 hours overtime per week ($11,772 - $13,632 per annum based on 5 hour range - on top of the total remuneration above).
