Multiple permanent Full-Time Opportunities Available: 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight (Rostered Day Off) Salary ranging from $63,380.20 - $73,658.52 plus 11.5% Superannuation
The Opportunity
As a Plant Operator, you'll play a crucial role in building Wingecarribee Shire Council's roads and infrastructure. Your job is to operate machinery skilfully to construct vital community assets. You'll work across different teams and areas, taking on a variety of tasks from manual labour to specialized operations under supervision. This position offers you the chance to directly contribute to enhancing our community's essential infrastructure.

Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in construction and/or maintenance (roads and drainage) operating of medium to large plant and machinery relevant to the field equipment including trucks, rollers, excavators and graders, and manual labouring.
- Proven ability to follow instructions within a team environment, and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices effectively, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable field productivity and scheduling based systems to facilitate day- to-day operations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in delivering information on operational and maintenance services.
- Hold and maintain MR Drivers Licence, Ticket or Competency qualification to operate Excavator, Grader or Backhoe, Forklift Licence, Traffic Control Combo (Stop Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Plans), and WHS Induction Card with a willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment; Asbestos Awareness Training, Identify Locate and Protect Underground Services, Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.
- Maintain MR drivers' licence without restriction and ability to operate manual transmission
- Be willing to undergo a Pre-employment medical check prior to commencement
