Your opportunity:

  • To provide generalist physiotherapy clinical services to a broad range of clients across the age continuum; aiming to promote, develop and maintain self management principles and independent client functioning.
  • The Physiotherapist is based at Gayndah or other Wide Bay rural health facility and travels regularly to supply quality inpatient, outpatient and health promotion services across rural hospitals/ multipurpose facilities in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 10th November 2024 with the possibility of extension.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB).  For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis

Our offer:

You will receive competitive remuneration value up to $10,725 p.m., comprising salary between $2,941.70 - $4,323.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 10th November 2024 with the possibility of extension).
