People & Culture Associate - Workplace Relations/HR Systems Specialist - 2 year contract

We are seeking an organised individual with excellent system administration skills, attention to detail and initiative to support the delivery of People & Culture services and HR technology implementation to the organisation.
You will work with an established team of system specialists to support the employee management lifescycle during a period of technology change. You will thrive in a fast paced environment, adapting to changing needs of the organisation. You seek personal growth and exposure to new system implementation projects as well as supporting business as usual activities during a period of change.
The role will involve working with the existing team of system specialists and broader People and Culture Workplace Relations team through technology and administrative support.
The People & Culture Officer - Workplace Relations is responsible for:
- Administering human resource system related processes and data entry including changes to structure, salary, new and exiting employee information, work rosters and arrangements
- Liaise closely with Council’s Payroll team and internal stakeholders to meet cyclical deadlines through data accuracy

Supporting the implementation and delivery of system related human resource processes and projects.

Providing administrative support to the Workplace Relations Team in relation to organising activities, processing system updates and collating information in relation to industrial relations matters, in reference to the Award and other relevant legislation.
- Ensure accurate records are saved and actioned in Council’s record management system
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Certificate IV in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent or similar relevant experience
- Driver Licence

Salary range: Grade 12 - $72,851.72 - $78,831.39 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation for a 35 hour work week.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
