The Opportunity

Lithgow City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Painter to join their team in Lithgow, NSW.

Reporting to the Works Coordinator - Buildings, you will be responsible to enhance Council buildings by programmed annual painting maintenance in a tradesman like manner. 

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Plan paint maintenance programs 
  • Organise resources 
  • Paint Council buildings/structure 
  • Maintain vehicle 
  • Respond to Emergency Calls

About you

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Current Class C Drivers Licence 
  • Trade Certificate - Painting 
  • Experience in painting
  • Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of Work Health and Safety 
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity

Salary and Benefits

  • Between $1,103.90 and $1,220.53 per week, commensurate with your skills, qualifications and experience
  • Permanent Full-time, 38 hours per week
