The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek an expe­ri­enced Team Member Litter Collection to work within the Works Depot team and under the general direction of the Manager Works.

Your responsibilities will be included but not limited to undertaking a range of cleaning and maintenance duties relating to Council property including toilet blocks, cleaning up side entry pits, cleaning and maintaining drains and waterways, assisting with the cleaning up of spills, e.g. oils, fuel, concrete, Maintain equipment and perform repairs as necessary, undertaking general cleaning and labouring work, assisting with traffic control around work sites and work safely as part of a team following Council policies and procedures.

• Attrac­tive salary of Level 2.1 (ME) $ 67,684.24 exclu­sive of super­an­nu­a­tion p/a plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o dependents
• 6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave entitlements (annual leave is paid at the employee’s ordinary hourly rate together with a leave loading of 17.5%.) + 3 weeks personal leave + long service leave
