To be successful in this role you have demonstrated experience in leading a team in the childcare environment together with a passion for creating safe and nurturing environments for school age children. 

The OSHC Educational Team Leader is responsible for:

• Assisting in the provision of a high quality out of school care program which meets the expectations of the Approved Provider, families and children.
• Ensuring that the program adopts culturally diverse approaches to programming, including a commitment to children that respects, reflects and celebrates culture, diversity and inclusion of children with varying needs.
• Leading, guiding and supporting Educators to implement the program, and the service philosophy, whilst maintaining professional and ethical standards at all times when dealing with families, educators and the children

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Identify and Respond to Children at Risk of Harm
• Drivers Licence
• HLTAID004 Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education & Care Setting
• Certificate IV in Out of School Hours Care or Diploma in Children’s Services

Salary range: Grade 13 -$37.68 - $40.78 per hour for a 25 hour week plus super and other allowances  Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
