As Council embarks on its technology transformation project - 'Tech Blueprint' - we seek a highly motivated training and instructional design guru to support training across the organisation. You will have a passion for influencing change through professional development and will join our existing Learning and Development team.
You will have proven ability to plan, design, implement, manage and evaluate educational programs and microlearning. You will be adaptive to change and have an aptitude for quickly learning digital systems and distilling this information into videos, guides and learning resources for a range of learning abilities.

The Organisational Trainer role is responsible for:
- Designing and facilitating training and microlearning resources to support Council's technology transformation project
- Developing eLearning tools and resources including video, guides, online resources etc
- Undertaking current and future skills gap analyses, assessing organisational changes and associated impacts to enable the development of training packages
- Supporting the delivery of key change communications surrounding training activity for technology and growth initiatives
- Working collaboratively across the organisation to understand current and future business requirements in the continuous improvement of digital literacy and LLN as part of the People and Culture team
- Support Council's existing Learning and Development team through delivery of corporate training programs, induction etc
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Tertiary qualifications in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Organisational Development, IT or similar
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Strong verbal communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to design quality training content to multiple learning styles
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skillsets
- Excellent IT literacy and advanced computer and software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office and TechnologyOne programs
- Previous experience supporting large scale change management initiatives
- Experience in data analytics and report development

Salary range: Grade 16 - $90,795.93-103,104.86 per annum plus superannuation for a 35 hour work week.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
