About the role:

Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking a highly flexible Casual Optical Assistant to join our team at the Pakenham Specsavers store.

The ideal candidate will be available to work across Monday to Sunday with a high number of hours available.

You’ll be involved in all aspects of our customers journey, which will include booking of appointments, greeting customers, using high-tech pre-testing equipment and dispensing from our range of fashion forward, excellent quality frames. You’ll work to healthcare guidelines and provide a great customer experience at every opportunity and be part of a warm and friendly team.

Full training will be provided.

This is an amazing opportunity for a confident, hardworking individual that has the following skills and attributes:

• Highly flexible and available to work across Monday to Sunday
• Able to build rapport & adopts good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers
• Strong computer literacy and basic math skills
• Good standard of personal presentation
• Initiative, punctuality and reliability
• Able to work cohesively and productively within a team
• Prior Optical experience beneficial but not required
• Prior Retail experience beneficial but not required
