The National is a world class, private golf club, providing unique member experiences on four golf courses across two sites at Cape Schanck and Long Island.

The Role
The National Golf Club is looking to engage a full-time Membership and Communications Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
The role combines content creation, digital communications, and administrative support, with a focus on promoting the value of membership at The National Golf Club.
Key responsibilities include:
· Act as a frontline contact for both prospective and current members
· Support the end-to-end processing of membership applications, leasing and onboarding
· Assist in the development and delivery of a consistent Club Communications Plan
· Draft, edit, and coordinate regular Club Communications across email, website, social media, and mobile app.
· Update and maintain the Club’s website and app
· Create and manage content for digital channels
· Support member engagement campaigns and new member communications
The successful candidate will have the following skills and background:
· A qualification in communications, marketing, public relations, or business (desirable)
· Previous experience in communications, marketing, or membership administration
· Possess a sound understanding of golf, its culture and member expectations
· Working knowledge of tolls such as WordPress, email marketing platforms, Microsoft Office, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
· Confident working with social media platforms and emerging technologies including AI tools.
· Full working rights in Australia
The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills, display initiative, strong attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to work to deadlines in a dynamic environment, and act with professionalism at all times.
