Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following key position.

MECHANIC – (Permanent)

The purpose of the Mechanic is to provide mechanical skills for the efficient maintenance and repair of Council plant, vehicles, equipment, pumps and motors both in the workshop and infield situations.

Qualifications: The successful applicant will need to be a qualified mechanic with a Motor Mechanic licence and have experience working on diesel engines and hold a current Australian driver licence.

Hours of work: 38 hours per week.

Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $71,077.76 to $78,186.68 (Grade 11).  Rostered day off once a fortnight, plus superannuation.
