Tourism Central Australia (TCA) is seeking our new Marketing Specialist to join our team and play a key role in developing Central Australia.

TCA is the peak regional tourism organisation responsible for promoting Central Australia as a premier travel destination. Our mission is to showcase our 350+ tourism members businesses as well as the extraordinary landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and diverse experiences that make Central Australia a must-visit for travellers from around the world.

The Role 
As the Red Centre's Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive tourism growth in the region. You will also focus on enhancing strong relationships with members and stakeholders, industry partners, and local businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement all of Tourism Central Australia's digital marketing and social media activity as well as the management of our digital assets
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials both digital as well as printed publications
  • Execute direct to consumer content marketing through website and EDMs
  • Assist with cooperative marketing activities
  • Cultivate relationships with current and potential members, ensuring excellent customer service and identifying opportunities for collaboration
  • Represent TCA at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build strong partnerships and increase brand visibility.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the tourism industry.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop unique marketing campaigns.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
