About the Role
As the Manager Human Resources, you will lead a team of highly skilled HR practitioners in the delivery of a range of functions and services including but not limited to Industrial & Employment Relations, Organisational Design and Effectiveness, Recruitment, HR Reporting, and Remuneration and Benefits.

Acting in both a strategic and operational capacity, the Manager Human Resources plays a key role in ensuring Council's organisational culture is aligned with our Guiding Principles and will oversee key deliverables within Council's Workforce Management Plan. This position will also provide advice to the Executive Leadership team and broader business on the implementation and application of best practice HR policies, protocols, and initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified in Human Resource Management or a related discipline and will have significant experience in Human Resources.

You will have experience leading and coaching a service orientated HR Team in the delivery of best practice Human Resources solutions. Your ability to deal with complex organisational performance matters including representing Council with employment law, disputes, investigations and disciplinary proceedings is essential.

To complement your leadership experience, you will also have strong interpersonal skills that ensure you are highly skilled at collaborating with and influencing a range of stakeholders and departments across Council.
