Geographe Leisure Centre is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Leisure Industry professional to assist with our expanding programs and services. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and service minded individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer.

About the role:

We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join our vibrant Leisure Centres team. Reporting to the Leisure Centres Team Leader Customer Experience, this role will be the face of the Geographe Leisure Centre working from the Customer Service counter and upholding the City of Busselton Service Standards. Our customer service ambassadors will provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers over the telephone, email, social media platforms and in person. They will also provide administrative support within the Leisure Centres teams and undertake administrative duties and other tasks as directed by the Team Leader of Customer Experience.

Hours alternate each week between day shift 5.15am – 1.15 pm and afternoon shift 12pm – 8.00pm, for a 76 hour fortnight.

The person:

The successful applicant will align with our values and ideally have the following competencies:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement strategies.
  • Sales experience and well developed numeracy and cash reconciliation skills.
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills, including Point of Sale, Microsoft office Suite.
  • Developed written, verbal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and also independently.

Applicants must also have a current “C” class driver’s licence, First Aid qualification, and be able to provide a police clearance no more than 6 months old.
