The Package: $1,190.13 - $1,315.04 gross per week + 11% super. (Evaluated as Grade 6 of the QPRC Salary System 2023) and guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full-time – 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.

In this role you will:

• Be required to operate, maintain, and record use of Council’s Plant
• Provide supervision and support to the team carrying out tasks such as the construction, extension, repair and maintenance of water supply, sewerage, and stormwater mains.
• Support the team in water quality maintenance and testing.
• Participate in Council’s after hours on-call roster.

We are looking for someone who:

• Certificate III in Water Industry Operations and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Possess and maintains a current class ‘MR’ Drivers licence
• Ability to effectively lead, inspire, and oversee staff to ensure the implementation of service unit strategies while maximising the utilisation of resources.
• Understands the implementation of plumbing concepts.
