The Department for Education is looking for a highly motivated Early Years Coordinator who is passionate about making a difference in Indigenous education.
Yalata Anangu School is part of a remote Aboriginal Community in the Anangu Lands Partnership and is situated on the Far West Coast approx. 200 kilometres west of Ceduna on the edge of the Nullarbor Plain in South Australia. The school has a strong focus on developing oral literacy and phonological awareness, reading and writing, together with developing social and emotional school readiness. The school has established strong transitions from preschool to school.
Early years leader to coordinate the preschool and school early years team. teach in the preschool, oversea the playgroup and line manage the early years teachers. Applicant needs to have high communication skills and ability to work across year levels and with the community.
