Competitive Salary $63,380.20 - $73,658.52 + 11.5% Superannuation p.a (Depending on skills and experience)

About the Role

As a Landscaper Crew Member, you'll report to the Team Leader Landscape and deliver a variety of high-quality landscaping services across Council-managed areas like, parks and open spaces, streets and civic spaces and roadside gardens. You'll ensure:

  • All work is carried out efficiently and effectively and in line with operational service levels and customer expectations
  • Undertake a range of scheduled and project landscaping tasks associated with the construction and maintenance of outdoor areas
  • Work in collaboration with team to deliver scheduled and reactive service within service timeframe and quality standards.
  • Operate handheld tools and other designated machinery and equipment involved in landscaping works
  • Maintain a strong commitment to public safety by ensuring all landscaping activities are carried out in a manner that adheres to safety regulations and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria)

  1. Demonstrated experience and interest in landscaping and landscape construction.
  2. Experience in operating small to medium size landscape machinery plant and maintenance equipment such as excavator & skid steer.
  3. Ability to use computer applications and operate an iPad effectively to facilitate day- to-day operations.
  4. Ability to communicate with key stakeholders in delivering information on operational and maintenance services.
  5. Hold a current MR/HR Class drivers' licence, WHS Induction Card. Competency qualifications to operate Excavator and Skid Steer.
  6. Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical prior to commencement
