About the role:

Council is seeking an application from an enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified person to join our team asLandfill / Transfer Station Attendant


Based at our Dingee Transfer Station, the successful applicant will work:

· Third Sunday of each month (throughout the year) 10am to 2pm, and

· First Wednesday of each month (from October to March only) 8am to 12pm

Relief duties at other landfills and transfer stations may also be negotiated from time to time subject to availability. An attractive salary of $36.45 per hour plus applicable weekend penalty rates and employer superannuation is on offer.

The successful candidate will have:

· ability to effectively communicate with the public and work colleagues

· ability to process the receipt and handling of payments

· ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
